About me

I've been building and maintaining web sites since 1996.  After getting my Literature degree at UC Santa Cruz, I needed 3 more units to graduate.  There was a new class being offered to learn to build websites in HTML.  I fell in love with the instant gratification of writing a few lines of text and getting pretty pictures and layouts!

I took a job as an Editorial Intern at Miller Freeman Publishing.  While there, the internet was just catching on and the magazine had years of archives they wanted to put online.  This is where my one summer class after graduation came in handy.  The rest is my internet history.

When not building and maintaining sites, I love to cook (see FoodPorn.com) and rock climb.  I spend my time doing those things with my family as much as possible!
